Accident[LY]

dem
involved in an accident with my wife just now
luckily we all didnt suffer any physical injuries
my wife still in shock over the crash

it was a typical hit from behind accident
the car in front gimme an emergency brake, i had to brake and didnt touch her car.. but then, the car behind me dont bother to look for my brake lamp, he even said that i have a faulty brake lamp.. sh*t!!
i drag him out from his car, on that moment i was thinkin to start a brawl but thinkin of the positive way, we manage to calm things down and tow the car to the nearest police station..
i made my report and the car now is towed to the shop

things has settled.. but now im left with my wife car which is a viva to go to my daily work.. the mechanic said that it normally would take about a month untill the whole repairing/insurans claim took place..

but on monday, the same thing happen.. the cpu suddenly shut down itself
sh*t!!

now i'm left with an internet connection without any desktop/pc
hell i need a new cpu.. quick!!

A New Dawn

heya,

this time i am surfin the net thru my ol pc at the comfort in my home.. yep, i finally registered myself a broadband account so that i can surf the net here.. my rigs? bcoz of money restriction (i do need better pay!) i only manage to upgrade my ol pc and set it up to receive broadband connection.. the performance is quite ok but the pc need to be handle with more cautious.. heh.

after finalizin my setup, yesterday night is the 1st time i log in to my account.. it went well despite of minor problem with account activation but that problem settled when i contact my provider hotline number..

this pc actually just bein formatted and re-install by me again and when i 1st connected to the net, theres bout 99 updates to be install by msft.. so last night is only for downloadin updates and final setup..

so, this is my diagnose for connection setup:

Streamyx Broadband 512kbps
Download Speed: 1744 kbps (218 KB/sec transfer rate)
Upload Speed: 370 kbps (46.3 KB/sec transfer rate)
Latency: 365 ms

Celebrity Look-Alikes

actually i never believed in this so say face recognition system thru the net.. how come they can scan ur pics and put some recognition on it as it was a similar to other people faces.. hmm.. i will only believe it if i was put into a machine and that machine scan my face and then scan thru a database file and try matching it..
anyway, i found it funny and kinda imaginative to have this kind of software and give it a try.. after 2 pics of myself, my celebrity look-alike would be HIDETOSHI NAKATA - a japanese football player playin for italian serie A(fiorentina, bologna, parma, roma and perugia) and english premier league (bolton wanderers)
the sites suggest that everybody post more than 1 pic and the person/celebrity that appear the most will be the look-alikes. for me, both pic resulted nakata being the most similar face compared.
